Network Update//11-10-22
Greetings from Your Network Superintendent
As we approach another Thanksgiving, I am thankful that God forgives all our sins (Psalm 103:3). No matter what someone has done, their sins can be completely forgiven. Despite failures, God can forgive and free anyone so they can have a fresh start. Guilt and shame can be removed. They can be born again.
The forgiveness of sin is the greatest benefit of all. It can be explained this way, “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). Jesus Christ took your place upon the cross and died for your sins. He shed His blood so you could be completely cleansed. Isaiah wrote, “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6).
The words of John 3:16 are just as true today as the first time I heard Pastor Joe Dee Kelly preach it when I was six years old, which are “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” The Bible teaches that “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
Boldly preach that the forgiveness of sins is available to everyone. Give altar calls for salvation. Call sinners to repentance. Plan soul winning and evangelism outreaches. Engage everyone in your community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
You are deeply loved, greatly appreciated, and highly valued as a TNAG minister. Renew your credentials today for 2023.
Your Superintendent,
Terry Bailey
