Network Update—10/3/2024
Our TN Ministry Network family was able to get away to Gatlinburg this week for our annual Minister’s Retreat. With your spouses, your ministry staff, and your kids, we connected together with powerful worship facilitated by Valor School of Ministry and Griffin First AG. Retreat is absolutely my favorite gathering event of TNMN. This year we had the opportunity to gather at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in the heart of Gatlinburg. We also held all of our services in the mornings each day of retreat which allowed for more freedom and REST during the afternoons and evenings. I was thrilled with this year’s Retreat schedule.
Spiritually, we were blessed by the incredible ministries of Dr. Robert & Pam Crosby, President at Emerge Ministry, and Dr. Ron Crum, Global Pastor at Griffin First Assembly and Academic Dean of Valor School of Ministry. Thank you once again to Valor School of Ministry for providing excellent ministry to our children during our services and Women in Ministry gathering. Monday afternoon we held a rain-soaked (but unforgettable) Superintendent’s Cup golf tournament. Tuesday we gathered in Sectional connection lunches, and Wednesday we had different departmental connect lunches to fellowship as a unified network. If you weren’t able to make it this year, I urge you to make time on your calendar to come to Minister’s Retreat next year in 2025. Retreat is truly an event to step away from the pressures of ministry, kick back, relax and fellowship with your TNMN friends. Hike the Smokies. Enjoy enriching times with your spouse and ministry staff. Reconnect with old friends. Make new friends. This year’s Retreat was an incredible blessing and next year will be even better!
Here are some of the reasons I love being a part of our TN Ministry Network family:
